American Paul Johnson (NJ) beheaded in Saudi Arabia; Putin supports President Bush
A most disgusting thing happened today. An al-Qaida group beheaded American engineer Paul M. Johnson Jr. according to news reports today. This disgusting murder is not only cowardly beyond description, but it is also yet another call to civilized people everywhere to reject terrorism in all forms, and to support those who fight terrorism, such as our current President and Commander-in-Chief, George W. Bush. Supporting weak liberals like John Kerry will only encourage terrorists. Terrorists only understand one thing: Strength. President George W. Bush is clearly a strong leader, while John F. Kerry is clearly a weak-minded liberal who will take America back to the desperate days of the Carter Administration. Liberal policies have been proven to be incorrect, so why on earth would Americans want to elect another hardcore liberal? I certainly hope that the indoctrination centers...er...I mean Universities and Colleges of America have enough truth left in textbooks and classrooms to give younger Americans who cannot remember the misery of the late 70's an idea of what a Kerry Administration would do to American strength, confidence, and integrity. Our national prestige and integrity suffered enough under the last Democrat in the White House.
In other news, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday his government warned Washington that Saddam Hussein's regime was preparing attacks in the United States and its interests abroad - an assertion that supports the Bush Administration's Iraq policy, despite official Russian disapproval. "After Sept. 11, 2001, and before the start of the military operation in Iraq, the Russian special services ... received information that officials from Saddam's regime were preparing terrorist attacks in the United States and outside it against the U.S. military and other interests," Putin said. He said Bush had personally thanked one of the leaders of Russia's intelligence agencies for the information but that he couldn't comment on how critical it was in the U.S. decision to invade Iraq.
Saddam "was a threat because he had terrorist connections - not only al-Qaida connections, but other connections to terrorist organizations," the President has said. Last week Vladmir Putin said he has no patience for those who criticize Bush on Iraq. "I don't pay attention to such publications," Putin said of media criticism of Bush at the end of the Group of Eight summit in the United States, according to the ITAR-Tass news agency. Putin said opponents who criticize Bush on Iraq "don't have any kind of moral right. ... They conducted exactly the same kind of policy in Yugoslavia."
Funny how all you need to do is to read the news and you'll see that President Bush always was correct, despite massive media protestations to the contrary...
